I was a little hesitant to see how basil would smell in the lotion, but it was actually very soothing and light.

Although I received this item as part of a review mission I can't say enough good things about it and it is a product I will continue to purchase on my own after they run out. The Soap and Lotion are just the right balance of Basil scent and light fragrant aromas. They are not strong or overpowering. They are gentle enough to use multiple times throughout the day and the Lotion is creamy and velvety on your skin. I can't recommend them enough. Already looking forward to trying new scents. Mrs. Meyer Clean Day Basil Hand Lotion is the perfect staple product to have near your kitchen, together with the Hand Wash. After a hard day cooking, or doing the dishes, or whatever, you can just calm your hands by washing it, and then applying some lotion to feel it moisturized. This is a great moisturizer. The scent is nice too. I gave it 4 starts because I can't associate the scent to the bathroom - for me, it felt too weird to have something with a basil scent in the bathroom. Other than that, the product is great, perfectly moisturizing, helping making smoother even the hardest working hands.
