It's natural and you can tell

When I first received my review samples of Mrs Meyer's Clean Day lotion and hand soap I wasn't sure what to think. This was not a brand I was familiar with, nor did it appear to be anything that would interest me. I was pleasantly surprised, however, by my experience with the product. The basil scented lotion I received smelled great. The hand soap too was nice, though I personally preferred the lotion. The smell was great and long lasting. The best part about it is that Mrs Meyer's prides itself on natural ingredients, and even the scent smells all-natural. I only have one real complaint, and that's the bottle design. They are very plain. So much so in fact that I occasionally forgot to use them because they blend right in. Still, this is a nitpick at best. Overall I'd say if this looks like a product you'd be interested in, you'll probably be happy with your purchase. I enjoy the sweet smell of basil and calming it has as well as how it moisturizes my skin when i use the lotion. I also like the bottle and packaging it is very appealing and looks very classy.

All review comments are entirely my own. I was delighted to try out this product line as I haven't ever thought of using it before. The scent is lemony, herbal, and overall fresh and not the typical culinary basil smell you'd expect from just reading the name. The moisture level is just right and absorbs fast. I used it after I washed my hands (which is a lot) and it is non greasy and provides scent for a good amount of time without it being overpowering.

I loved using this product! I like that it is environmentally friendly and good on the skin. I was worried at first about how it would smell but it has a great aroma. It feels good on the skin, but I felt that you needed to use alot just to get lather. I will definitely give this another try though!!
