I was absolutely amazed at the great scent. It was not overbearing. Also the lotion did not leave my hands feeling greasy. I loved how it smoothed/softened my hands (and arms). I like the natural ingredients in the Basil hand lotion ...I also feel better with products with no animal testing. I recieved my product free for a sample to review and these opinions are my own

Calming scent, leaves skin soft

A creamy and moisturizing lotion in a gentle calming scent. It eliminates dryness and leaves my hands silky smooth. I use it right after washing my hands with Meyers basil soap. The scent is a little stronger than the soap but relatively mild. It's made with high quality natural ingredients and I am really impressed with the effectiveness. I absolutely love Mrs Meyer's Clean day Basil lotion. It wasn't too thick and was easy to spread all over my hands. I love that it is made with fresh scents from the garden that is used to relieve stress. Most importantly, it didn't leave my hands feeling oily afterwards. The only problem was I didn't think the scent was strong enough. But I would recommend this lotion to my friends and family. I was surprised at the scent and the feel of the lotion. The lotion is creamy and leaves a pleasant scent that last a long time. When my friends and family came for a visit I asked them to try it, they all asked to take it home with them.

I was a little iffy about using this product. I wasn't sure if I would like the smell of basil?!?! But this blew my mind! I washed my hands with the basil hand soap and applied this after, it was nice mild smell and it wasn't super greasy like most hand lotions! I will buy this again! This stuff smells great! I first thought basil? In a soap and lotion? But once I opened the container the smell was so fresh, clean, and inviting. The smell is not over powering but just right and it lasts on your hands for a while. It keeps my hands feeling moisturized. This product is truly a keeper. I received this product for free to sample from crowdtap.
