[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have for every crafter, artsy fartsy or anyone who likes to color. They glide on the paper. Great for shading/shadowing and so much more. I have never used oil crayons before and now I can't get enough of them. I have severe anxiety and do lots of crafts and coloring. The pictures are so bright and bold that the color just pops. No crayon pieces or globs while your color. It's just all around a way better crayon.

Fun, easy & convenient for adults & kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a working single Mom with 2 jobs, I am always on the go; but, when I get a free moment for myself I will draw or sketch to relax and refocus. One of my favorite mediums to use for my art is oil paint but with small kids, it can get very messy. So, I decided to research inexpensive oil paint alternatives and found Prang Sketcho Oil Crayons. They are thick crayons, available in 12 and 24 count convenient sticks, that look like oil paint when used and can easily draw on white, black, or colored papers. You can apply them lightly for a chalk-like texture or heavily in multiple layers for a painterly effect. I loved how easy they were for me to blend with my finger to achieve multiple looks and my kids loved using them as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the concept of these crayons! My younger boys love drawing, coloring and painting. With these crayons they can do all three with no mess! The colors blend out beautifully and they love using them to create art!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the simplicity of coloring with crayons and yet the effect of watercolors. Colors blend beautifully. Even my preschooler is enjoying creating watercolor masterpieces. Would like to see more range of colors and shades of pastels.

The oil painting look is fu to work with as opposed to normal waxy crayons. They are durable and high quality, and best part is they’ve washed out of all his clothes so far!

Brilliant Beginners Watercolor Option!

We love colors and blending and I imagined this would be a lot of fun to experiment with. We have had so much fun with them we also bought some more as gifts for other children in our family. The ease of use and specific areas you want colors are extraordinarily impressive with these Payons. We loved coloring two colors in a like area and then dipping some paintbrushes in water to turn the Paton into its watercolor form and see the various blends the two colors could create. There are eight colors in one package which make for a number of possible colors! These Payons can also be dipped in water themselves for even easier use and learning how to use watercolors. We will definitely be purchasing these again when we run out as they’re affordable, engaging and fun, as well as long lasting when used properly and not pressed on too hard.

They are more durable , so far none have been broken and that’s a record in my house. The colors are pretty and shade really well. I am very impressed with the quality of these and would recommend them.

Good for beginning artists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my daughter to use in her art. She really likes them. I like that they don't rub off on her clothes and skin. They do leave little pieces on the paper...like normal crayons do. Some of the colors are more vibrant than the others but they are all nice. Easy to use and not messy. What more could you ask for?
