Great for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got the Prang Sketcho Oil crayons I was excited to use them. Perhaps more excited than the kids. These crayons remind me of my childhood and getting to use them in art class every once in a while. The first thing I did was I made a rainbow and blended the colors together. It is a bit messy but fun to blend the colors. I can't wait to see what different things that I can do with these crayons. Oh and of course the kids can use them sometimes. I would definitely recommend to those who love to create.

Great Water Color Crayons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never used Payons before and decided to try the water color crayons with my daughter for a fun crafternoon. They drew smoothly as we created our designs and we then pulled out the brushes and water to go over them. The color flowed smoothly and left defining lines where the crayons originally drew creating an awesome effect! In addition to making great finished pieces, using the water color crayons was so much less messy. We look forward to creating more with them and definitely recommend giving them a try!

Great for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these out since I've been channeling my inner artist. I used it on sketch paper and it was okay. It does not cover as well as other products, at least on paper, but it works. My 9 year old was having a blast drawing and shading. It's perfect for kids. If you're a real artist, it's not the highest quality, but it does the job. I wouldn't purchase this again for myself, but for my kids I would. Great learning tool!

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this crayon that turns to watercolor to see if my 6 year old son would enjoy it. We got it and he was excited! We got a small bowl of water to dip crayon in and presto it worked like a watercolor!!! He loved it and drew to his hearts content. I highly recommend this product for fun times and projects.

Classic colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve just recently started using watercolor paints, but I’ve only used the type in the tray. I was intrigued by these crayon style watercolor paints.
The packaging is simple, but pretty. On the back are the directions, they’re simple, and easy to understand. I appreciate that the inner packaging is also wrapped in plastic, which kept them in place.
You receive 8 colors. I call these the classic colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black.
I tried the two application techniques on the back. First I wet the color then used my brush to apply the color. Easy, and I thought the color came out well on paper. The second technique was to dip the color into the water and then apply directly to paper. This for me didn’t work as well as the brush application, but I was still able to apply the color.
Each color is encased in a card board holder, so your fingers aren’t touching the crayon. When you need more crayon you just tip it, and it slides down. The second application technique might not work so great, if the color keeps sliding up into the tube, so you may eventually need to take the color out. The colors dry nicely, and I was able to restore them back into the original case.
I’m not sure if I’m in love with these, but they do work and would be easy for a young child to create art with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try these crayoms out with my daughter, because we like to draw and color....a lot. The packaging says they can be used multiple different ways...as is, dip in water, or like paint. We decided to dip inwater and see. Well, sadly some of them were not sticking to the hard protector so it made it difficult to color without getting the actual coloring on our fingers. In my opinion, it didn't go on like watercolor or paint. It looked basically like a crayon...super bummed. We will just use these for coloring I suppose!

You can use this crayons for many uses: oil painting effect, pastel drawing effect, staining effect and transparent effect.
The dice are perfect for big and little hands, my daughter love drawing with them!

Excellent PRANG Sketcho oil crayons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PRANG Sketcho oil crayons really surprised me! These oil crayons honestly are made with high quality unique oil formulation. My daughter loved the beautiful, and natural bright colors of these crayons, and not only did she love the feel of the crayons while she was drawing, but loved the fact that these crayons do not smear at all. I will definitely be buying more of these Sketcho oil crayons for her art classes. I give them an A+
