An ideal paper for printing large reference or for finished work. It retains detail color consistency and rich values. Perfect for prints where a shine is not the ideal finish. Because it is double sided this paper is wonderful when testing work. Just flip after making changes in Photoshop and compare your results before printing your finish. It prints clear beautiful images with both of my Epson printers. At 61 lbs. this paper is substantial and work is ready to mat or frame. I recommend both the Stapes Matte finish and the High Gloss.

Even though the instructions say that the Matte paper is printable on both sides IT IS NOT!!! It can ONLY be printed on the ‘whiter’ side. Don’t waste your ink on the other side.

Excellent product that creates beautiful results with my Epson 1400 printer and Claria inks. Wonderful color and tones. One of my two favorite papers along with Arches Water Color Paper that I wish was made in larger sizes.

used on cannon pro 100 inkjet and colors were super saturated and bright without bleed and thickness of paper really did allow for double sided printing with no transparency.

Staples Ultra Premium Matte has been my favorite photo paper for several years. It is the smoothest and whitest paper I have ever encountered. It is absolutely faithful to your digital file. If you are interested in textured or toned papers this would not be your choice.
