Good Paper - more sizes & glossy needed

Mat photo paper is always good; however glossy option would be nice also as well as more of a variety in sizing. I like to print panoramic prints too thus some 8 1/2 X 14 would be nice to find in both glossy and mat finish. Even a legal size would help. Then I wouldn't have to buy the larger size and cut. That wastes paper!

I have been using the Staples Ultra Premium Matte Photo Paper with great results for over a year now. I use it for both color and monochrome prints. I am generally am able to use the profiles for Epson Premium Presentation Paper Matte with good results. I especially like the extra thickness of this paper as compared to the Epson.

Just Construction Paper Not For Photo

I was looking for some large photo papers and Staples brand in matte finish was the only one available so I picked up a pack to try it out. When I first took a sheet of the "photo" paper out of the bag I immediately questioned myself about quality. It was just like the texture of a thin piece of construction paper. It handled the ink well but nowhere near the quality of the big brand photo paper. Also the paper is SUPER flat matte. I'm going to return it. Not too sure how people gave it 5 stars.

Staples Ultra Premium Matte Photo Paper is perfect for my particular application. I do art pieces that require printing from my Epson printer on large format 13 x 19 paper. I find the quality is better than Epson's 13 x 19 photo paper, and the fact that it's 2-sided without a watermark is perfect because I use light behind my pieces, so cannot use anything with a watermark. I have a feeling that I buy more of this from my local Staples than anyone else.

I use this paper to create prints of my digital artwork, and the colors always come out bright and perfect. The weight of the paper is perfect for prints as well. I've used this paper for five years now, and won't use anything else.
