I purchased this no-name paper because it was in stock locally. I didn't have to wait. Unfortunately after printing a single image through my Canon Pro9000 Mark II I immediately knew this paper wasn't going to cut it. And now I'm out[$]. The problem? After all the ink is set down the paper has a visible "wave" to it due to the weight of the ink on the low quality paper.
I use an Epson R2880 printer (was an Epson R1800 until the ink jets clogged one time too many). I was using the Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Matte until I found this Staples paper. It seems to be a brighter white which makes the printed images more realistic and stunning. I'm a retired Aeronautical Engineer and have been a serious photographer since high school. In my career I was a perfectionist which resulted in being presented with NASA's Exceptional Public Service Medal (meant for non-employees). This paper meets my needs very well.
As a free-lance graphic designer I use this product for printed comps. It's great to be able to get this product in your stores because it is a specialty item being photo quality wide format and double sided. I would love if you could carry a semi-gloss or satin finish double-sided paper in wide format size also.
Some of my framed 8"x12" photos at home faded. I purchased the Staples 13"x19" pack and cut two 8 1/2" x13" sheets. Using my Canon MP 830's alternate (rear) feed I was able to print two lovely colorful and sharp Central Park views. The one which showed a path in the snow with tree surrounds was quite effective
