almost as good as Epson brand!

I prefer Epson paper over any paper (because I have an Epson printer) using the appropriate paper for you printer is important to get the best results... however Staples Photo Supreme paper Matte is pretty darn close to Epson as far as the coating. The white coating is more brilliant with Epson but to the untrained eye it's not very noticeable. Also the lb of the paper is slightly different. Epson's paper is a bit heaver but still it's not noticeable to the untrained eye. ;-) The only noticeable difference is the "richness" of blacks. Solid black color fields are richer on Epson paper than on Staples. I used this paper for Graphic Design projects and books.

Got the paper to give my new wide-format printer a photo test. A 5MP photo looked pretty good on this paper no smearing color holds well a little soft on the detail but that will probably improve with my 16mp camera once I capture something "Big Photo Worthy"
