almost as good as Epson brand!

I prefer Epson paper over any paper (because I have an Epson printer) using the appropriate paper for you printer is important to get the best results... however Staples Photo Supreme paper Matte is pretty darn close to Epson as far as the coating. The white coating is more brilliant with Epson but to the untrained eye it's not very noticeable. Also the lb of the paper is slightly different. Epson's paper is a bit heaver but still it's not noticeable to the untrained eye. ;-) The only noticeable difference is the "richness" of blacks. Solid black color fields are richer on Epson paper than on Staples. I used this paper for Graphic Design projects and books.

staples photo supreme 13" x 19" matte 20/pack has proven to be the most ideal paper for my needs. I am a painter and illustrator and sell reproductions of my artwork. I use an Epson Artisan wide format printer. For photographs I use various brands of glossy and lustre finish. They are great for photograph; but the staples photo supreme large format matte paper is perfect for reproductions. The quality of the print is consistent with the quality of a print produced in a major print shop.

Staples' paper great by this photog!

I purchase a lot of my photographic supplies from Staples. As an amateur going pro in the future I realize that presentation is everything! I look for paper that has no reaction to different inks (I use a small format printer and a large format printer also purchased at Staples). I also found that Staples paper works well with both HP printers so I purchase 8"x10" paper and 13"x19" paper as well as all my HP ink - only from Staples. When people compliment my work I am proud to say that I took the photographs and Staples helped me bring them to the public. Hats off to Staples!

The look i like

I am printing on an Epson 2200. It's an old printer that still prints great. My 2200 in combiation with the Stapels Matte Photo Supream paper give me remarkable results. I personally like the look of images printed on a matte finish sheet. The color on this sheet is great and consistant from package to package. The fact that I can print on both sides is an added bonus when creating displays and hand held signage for rallys.

Inexpensive

This medium weight matte paper is inexpensive and heavy enough for large photos. The only drawback is that my Epson printer doesn't have the color profile for this paper. As a result I have to choose the best one by trial and error and waste a few sheets to get it right.

It is printable on both sides. The paper tone is warm and the texture is excellent for fine art printing.
