Nice satin finish.

Paper has a nice satin finish and was easy to work with in my Epson ink jet printer. I needed a large photo for a project I was doing and had tried getting copies made and they just looked too washed out. So I decided to buy the paper and print my own. I was happy with the results. The printer driver listed the correct paper size so that was not a problem. As I said at the beginning the paper's satin finish helped the ink to dry almost immediately so that there was no smearing of the ink coming off the printer. Of course to have to handle it with a little care and allow it to properly dry but it was a lot easir to use than the glossy paper. The packaging could use a little beefing-up. I thought it to be rather flimsy and could easy alow the print paper to get crimped if mis-handled.
The paper is consistently excellent. I've been using it for about 4 years on an Epson Stylus 1400. Colors are accurate. Whatever the settings for a print this paper reproduces exactly and in striking detail. Photos of glass look better than on glossy paper.
I have used this large 13" x 19" photo paper to duplicate archival photographs for display in a historic 1721 house which is on the National Register of Historic Places. This paper enables enlargement of small photos to be exhibited in a unique way.
I was a little dismayed when my local Staples stopped carrying the glossy paper of their brand however I love this paper and have been converted to a matte enthusiast. The thickness is great the color is wonderful and I love the finish.
I was looking for the premium glossy photo paper in the 13" x 19" size but found that the Zephyrhills Staples does not stock it. I decided to get the matte finish paper anyhow. While most photographs benefit from the glossy I have enough that work with the Matte finish to justify the purchase. It does compare well with other matt papers I have used. It is very much worth the price. When the coupons come around I will certainly buy it again. I found the paper especially suited to art type photographs and poster-like pictures. While it is very good it will not make your already cute kids look any cuter nor will it improve your looks in a selfie enlargement.
Mat photo paper is always good; however glossy option would be nice also as well as more of a variety in sizing. I like to print panoramic prints too thus some 8 1/2 X 14 would be nice to find in both glossy and mat finish. Even a legal size would help. Then I wouldn't have to buy the larger size and cut. That wastes paper!
