I used to pay [$] for this item at the local Office [...]. They stopped carrying it there and told me I could purchase it online. I knew I had bought it at Staples before but the store location is further away. I was pleased just to find that they still had it but even more so it was under $8.00. I bought enough to last about one year. You do need a dispenser that wets the tape and cuts it. They are not cheap but if you ship a lot of packages it's well worth it. I pack and ship about 40 boxes a day and the paper tape is faster easier stronger and more professional than clear tape.

I'm pleased with this purchase. I've been using a wet sponge to get the tape wet so that I can apply it to each box. It's time-consuming and goopy but I can tell that there's a good seal and that's the most important thing. If you're looking for something convenient and quick don't buy this tape. But if you're okay taking time to wet the tape and get it on by hand (or if you have a machine!) you'll be happy with the security it offers. I do feel like the price point is slightly high considering the inconvenience of the tape (this is why I deducted one star).

This product has done the job preparing on-line orders for shipping. Prefer this. Over plastic for the reinforcement but this requires wetting the glue back would prefer self adhesive

This tape is very durable for shipping because it is reinforced with fiber it iwll not peel and tear. I have been using it for years to send packages overseas.

I had been using plastic packaging tape for ebay shipping. It seemed I used so many strips to secure a package and when I received a package I would take the plastic tape off in order to recycle the cardboard package. With paper tape I use less tape for secure packaging and customers can recycle my packages without the time consuming process of removing plastic tape; if they bother to do that at all before recycling the cardboard packaging! Please continue to carry this product! I know it's not as convenient as plastic tape but I'm sure it is an ecological benefit over plastic tape.
