This reinforced paper tape is a much better option than clear packing tape. Very strong and a good tight seal.

good tape but expensive

I was using this for construction of props from cardboard and it works better than the usual strapping tape and takes paint better too. It holds more tightly than I expected and is pretty tough. I have since used it for heavy packing.My only real complaint is that I would probably use it a whole lot more (and rate it higher) except that it's kind of expensive.

Apparently this is about the only shipping tape the USPS will accept for registered mail. I raced to Staples to get some since I was in town and hurried to prepare the package. Well. I got it too wet and it started peeling and curling. AWFUL. Even the USPS clerk was appalled and graciously helped me get my package properly taped with USPS tape. Now that being said I tried it again ensuring it was barely barely moist and it seemed to do alright. Package was accepted and arrived safely. Be aware.

Better than plastic packaging tapes

This tape is much better than those plastic packaging tapes. It requires that you use water to wet the glue but it is strong and will hold the boxes. Happy with purchase and it did it's job. One tape was enough for all the boxes we had and we were still left with some.
