I had several items on which I used this tape. When the adhesive dried It stopped sticking to my boxes. I believe this item was a waste of my time and money.

USED FOR PRIORITY MAIL --- NEEDED FOR SEALING PRIORITY MAIL ENVELOPES... WORKS VERY WELL FOR MY PURPOSES...
This product is advertised on the Staples as packing tape It is not packing tape. It has to be cut into strips moistened and then then applied. Big hassle! I ended up not using any of it - waste of money.
The post office wants all edges of registered mail packages taped with fiber reinforced paper tape. What they don't tell you is that the requirement for paper tape is mainly for putting their ink stamp on the package not for securing it. If you just want to securely tape a box then the clear plastic tape works better. This particular product went on cleanly and easily. The only issue that I saw was that the edges of the tape would curl up as the tape dried. Maybe I used too much water? Not sure.
