I needed to send a box via registered mail and knew I needed a paper tape to seal the box. I was very happy to find this at my local Staples. It was a little slick on the outside which worried me as I know other models/brands are using a plastic composition which the USPS does not like because they need to stamp all the edges to prove the package arrives without being interfered with. But it worked great. Easy to wet with damp sponge easy to apply bent around the edges of the box and even a narrow edge that was folded around the edge of the box held sturdily. Like others I'd have preferred to buy a smaller roll but the only one I found for sale was definitely plasticized. Happily I ship a lot of boxes and will be able to use up this roll.

I highly recommend this product; great adhesive and light but strong reinforcement. There are many circumstances where clear tape is adequate but for the shipping jobs that need strength security and reinforcement this tape rises to the task at a great price.

Excellent Paper/Fiber Tape!

Excellent strong paper tape meeting USPS requirements for shipping via Registered Mail. Adhesive gets sticky quickly with minimal water applied with a sponge. Tape is very strong and the cost is very reasonable.
