If you want to mail valuable items via Registered Mail they need to be wrapped in paper tape--no plastic tape allowed. That is why I bought this stuff. It seems to work fine. I have found that if it does not seem to be sticking well then you need to use more water to wet the tape.

The stores I searched for this kind of paper tape had none available (cellophane tapes for shipping are more costly)--so I was glad to find that Staples makes it available online.(which was free shipping to store & came very quickly) I haven't yet been able to use it for sealing cardboard boxes for shipping but did get to test a strip of it out and found it is strong enough and sticks instantly and reliable. ~ I'm very pleased & highly recommend :-)

This was just what I was looking for. I couldn't believe how few places actually have this in stock. I was able to purchase it online and swing by on my way home. It was ready for pickup and I was on my way. The pricing was good and the staff at the store very friendly and helpful.
