we sell a lot of items overseas and we always ship first class/ registered so we use this tape a lot and Staples is the only place I have found that sells it. You need to put this tape on all edges of the package so we use a lot of it. Would be lost without it-

I'm old school. This stuff is the only thing to use when you really want to seal a cardboard box. The tape actually bonds with the cardboard and becomes part of the box. Great staff at the store too. Thank you!

Paper Tape Reinforced

I was looking for a good strong paper tape reinforced for shipping packages for my business. We ship fine art panels worldwide. With clear packing tape it takes a couple of applications to make sure the carton stays together and gets to customers safe and sound. So I thought I would try paper tape instead. So I purchased Staples Standard Grade Paper Tape 2.8"x125 yards. There were no instructions how to apply the tape. Some simple instructions would be helpful. I wet the adhesive side of the tape then positioned it onto the package. The initial tack is not immediate having to rub the tape many times to ensure the bond. After the tape has dried the edges of the tape comes up. I apply more water to those areas but still the edges do not stay down. It's a little messy having to wet large strips of tape. I do like the fact that it is reinforced. Paper tape is more suitable for our business. Would like to have an easier and quicker application then this would be a prefect packing tape.

I USE THIS Reinforced fiberglass tape for all my shipping. never have I had a complaint about the shipping boxes tearing open or breaking apart during shipping. And you know UPS can be pretty rough sometimes.I frequintly ship accross country and I need a Reinforced fiberglass tape to secure my packages. this product is it.
