non plastic tape was required for sending a package. I did not even know they still made this tape. i could only find it at Staples.

Staples Gummed Packing Tape

Nothing holds a packed box together better than gummed tape even though it is somewhat cumbersome to use. I cut it either with scissors or a paper cutter (whatever I have on hand) and in wetting it down an empty glass cleaner spray bottle full of water. This produces a nice even wet coat and beats using your tongue. (Using a wet sponge is an alternative but it is extremely messy). However it would be nice if Staples offered an inexpensive gummed-label dispenser. Hint hint!
