We're very sorry to hear about your experience with our new scent. Quality and safety have always been at the forefront of everything we do, and while scent preferences will always vary from person to person, we would not expect you to be getting a headache when using it as directed. This is because all of our products go through extensive testing to ensure safety with proper use. Your wellbeing means a lot to us, so please discontinue using the Dishwashing Soap if you haven't done so already. In regard to the scent lingering on your dishes, we also wouldn't expect this to be your experience, however, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. To remove the scent/taste, please soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added.
