Awful Scent

I do not like giving this a poor rating but the new scent is horrible. Please go back to the "Original Scent" not the Clean Scent or Rain Scent. The perfumey smell is horrible and I will not buy it! I have been using Dawn for as long as I can remember, at least 50 years. That is all my Mom bought growing up. Dawn works to clean anything and has so many uses but the smell is awful. I have a weird thing about perfume scented things, they actually make me naseous and cause me a headache. Again, please go back to the true "Original Scent" so I can buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ewww, that Smell

This is NOT the original scent. For decades Dawn smelled like clean dishes. Now it smells like overpowering cheap bathroom air freshener. Procter & Gamble, please let this be your "New Coke" blip and bring back the real Dawn.

‘New clean scent’ is awful!

I’ve been using Dawn ultra for the past 25 years. I cant find Dawn ultra at my local stores, only the Dawn with the ‘new clean scent’. What a misnomer, nothing could be further from the truth, the new clean scent smells horrid! If I could give zero stars I would.
What marketing idiot sold this to upper management. Sadly I can’t use Dawn dish-soap any longer, have moved on to a different brand.

The new scent for Dawn ultra smells awful! I have used Dawn for over 30 years, but not anymore. Terrible marketing move that will drive long loyal customers to other competitors. It’s so bad I had to throw it out and move on to a different brand.

Perfume?

Bought the new scent and ended up pouring it down the disposal! Too much perfume scent! Why fix it if it’s not broken! Please don’t discontinue the original! I even think it gave my Tupperware container a taste of perfume on my leftovers! 🤢😷 very overpowering! Hate it! Please let me know if you plan on discontinuing the original, I would go out and buy a lifetime supply of it to avoid this perfume ridden new kind!

LOVE the new bottle!

I absolutely love the new EZ squeeze bottle. I love that the opening is on the bottom, so you can get every bit out of it (no more adding water to the small amount at the bottom just to get it all out.) I love that it doesn't make a mess and drip onto your surface. Dawn is just a great product. We even use it at my medical office to clean our CPAP supplies, and we always suggest to our patients that they use it too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't work as well as the original.

I bought the ultra 2 months ago. I LOVE Dawn dishwashing product so I tried this. Big mistake. At the beginning it worked terrific. By the time I got to the bottom third of the bottle, it just wasn't working. I put in one squeeze after another. This one meal of dishes took 6 squeezes! No good. I'm back to the original. I hope it's still available.

Nauseating

Was already having a decently bad day when I first used the NEW Fresh Scent ORIGINAL Dawn and the odor just tipped the scale for the day to irredeemable. It gave me an instant headache and nausea. I don't need unscented - my daughter brought home the pomegranate scent and it's fine, but the NEW Fresh Scent ORIGINAL is horrendous. Now I'm hoarding a small bottle of the previous original I found under my bathroom cabinet to sniff when I'm feeling sentimental about the good ole days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
