The new scent is disgusting! I have used dawn my whole life and will no longer be buying this brand.

New scent made me visibly sad

I used to put Dawn on dry hands to remove grease and oil from working on cars, then rinse. Opened a new bottle and thought I'd been scammed by an online reseller filling fake bottles with cheap soap. Smells like dollar store laundry soap. Felt like dollar store laundry soap. Didn't clean my hands as well as before, let alone trying to use it in my parts washer for aluminum. I feel bad for having my kids use it because even they thought the stink was horrific. Thanks for 25 years of value, and no thanks to a premium Dawn product. Dawn will no longer be a generational staple in our household(s).

HORRID!!!

Several months after the release of the NEW Dawn scent, I'm still searching for the perfect replacement. I'm completely disgusted that Dawn has changed what was the best dish soap on the market. The new scent is completely nauseating and I'll never buy it again. My sinuses clogged immediately when I first tried it, my eyes burned, my nose ran, etc etc. The scent was overwhelming, a very strong, sickly floral abomination that lingered not only on the dishes but throughout the kitchen and on my hands. It was just AWFUL. I have also used Dawn in some cleaning formulas, but....never again. I bought every bottle of the original Dawn I could find in the stores, but, alas, they have finally disappeared and only the new version is on the shelves. I can't imagine what thought processes went into changing a nice, pleasant scent into this dreadfully offensive version. Unless a miracle happens and this huge mistake is reversed ( anyone remember the "New Coke" fiasco??) I will never buy Dawn again.

Horrible scent

We've been using Dawn for dishes and other cleaning jobs multiple times a day for many, many years, but due to the New Clean Scent, no more. It is truly terrible. An annoyingly strong, cheap perfume odor that lingers for hours. I wouldn't want to smell it anywhere in my home, but especially not in a room where food is being prepared and eaten. Really disappointed that such a good product has been rendered unusable.

Hate the new scent

Hate the new scent, aside from the smell that doesn’t rinse away it also irritates my allergies. I tried the alternative suggested like the fragrance free and free & clear but it’s just not the same so a waste of money is the cherry on top. Now I need to find a new dish soap. I hope you are actually listening to your customers

I only buy the original with the duck !! That is our go to !! I will not do an online order because they keep giving me the scented one !! It is awful I smell it while I'm eating with a fork or spoon the smell is lingering on my plates and bowls !! I do not want my scented !! So very disappointed!! So my new struggle is to fine the original!! Who's ever made this choice you need to evaluate their position!!
