The fragrance change of Dawn Ultra Original was implemented after receiving positive feedback during extensive testing with consumers. We're sorry that your Dawn EZ-Squeeze bottle has been leaking. Our products and packages go through many quality checks, to ensure reliable performance. The last thing we want is for you to find a mess from a leaking bottle, and we're glad you reached out. First, we recommend that you check the bottle and cap to make sure that nothing is cracked or broken. If the bottle looks undamaged, next, loosen the cap to release the pressure then re-tighten it back on the bottle. Then give the bottle one big squeeze onto a sponge or into the sink for about 2 seconds. Also, for best results, the EZ-Squeeze bottles should always be stored with the cap side down. In regard to the scent lingering on your baby bottles, we wouldn't expect this to be your experience, however, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. To remove the scent/taste, please soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added.
