New scent is awful. I’ve been a hardcore believer in your product for the past 30 years and use it for many cleaning activities beyond just dishes. Even used dawn to clean contaminated wildlife. However the new scent is unpleasant and even offensive. We just returned a large bottle and are looking for a new brand. A 5 star product is now a 1 star product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

FRESH SCENT aka HIDEOUS

I wish I could give zero stars regarding your new "Fresh scent" , which is just awful. There is nothing fresh about it. I have allergies and am extremely sensitive to smells. This is very flowery, which is a scent that gives me headaches, runny nose, among many other symptoms. I was very loyal to your blue original, now I have switched to Joy lemon, because I know what a lemon smells like and I am okay with that. I cannot imagine what will happen when people try and bath their animals with this, because guess what?? Their sense of smell is much more sensitive than a humans. I'm not sure why this was changed. Please bring back the original and make this hideous scent a different color so people who need to avoid it, will. I bought an original scent and it was not the original scent. So unhappy with this!!!

Please go back to the original scent. The new scent is clearly not popular among your loyal customers. Why would you want to change it in the first place is beyond me.

We're sorry your nose doesn't agree with them, and will be sure to let our team know you'd like to return to the previous scent, as we do not have plans to return to that at this time. We do apologize that you're not enjoying the Fresh fragrance update to this dish soap. Your happiness is very important to us, and learning you're not satisfied gives us pause. I’m not a fan on the new smell!!

I feel like I’m washing my dishes and cleaning my counters with Kool Aid. There is nothing about the smell that says clean. Please at least give us an option of the original soap!

Disgusting new smell.

I hate the new scent. Artificial fragrances give me massive headaches. I don't want a migrane every time I wash the dishes. When I first used it, I thought the smell was coming from the sponge, as if I used it with some other cleaner. It wasn't until I was trying to wash the smell off of my hands I realized it came from the soap. Do not recommend, I won't buy it ever again. I want soap that smells like soap not fragrances. I ended up giving it away and buying a different brand.

Overpowering scent

Please please please return to the original scent. The new fresh scent is far from fresh and so overpowering. I actually really looked forward to the original scent. Based on similar reviews I recommend you dump the fresh scent and return us to normalcy. There is enough change in the world.

Terrible knew scent. Won't buy it.

Clean Scent Is nasty. The original Dawn scent was the cleanest best smelling dish soap around. That is why I chose it over Palmolive. Back to Palmolive now as I csnt stand the new scent and threw all 5 bottles I ordered away. Even my friends wouldn't take it because of the nasty smell.
