New Scent is horrible!

Bought the "new scent". Horrible. No dish should smell like this. It lingers on dishes and glasses. Swear you can taste it even after rinsing several times. Guess I'll be finding something else. Terrible decision.

Great product and nice new functioning bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of course everybody knows that blue dawn dishwashing soap is the best solution for all types of diverse cleaning. This product has done an excellent job displaced in Greece and cleaning for many years, it’s all for a reasonable price. This is a product I use pretty much exclusively in my household, and will continue to do so Unless the formula changes. This new bottle makes this product even more superior, as I personally have not experienced any leakage or anything of the sort. All the bottles I have received have been really easy to use and has not leaked

HATE THIS SCENT

I don't even want to give it 1 star. This new scent is horrendous and it doesn't rinse off so I'm always smelling it. Nauseating. Til it's changed back, you just lost yet another customer. Nice going!

You could try soaking your dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar mixed in to see if that helps. Because your safety comes first, we recommend discontinuing any further use of your Dawn Original EZ-Squeeze bottle, if you haven't already, and ask that you call us so we can gather some additional details and help you get a replacement you'll enjoy using. We suggest Dawn Free & Clear Unscented or Lemon in a light citrus scent. Both also come in EZ-Squeeze bottles, with all the cleaning power you love about Dawn minus any or heavy fragrance. New smell is terrible

The new scent of original dawn is horrible. Too perfumed, like an annoying air freshener. Triggers my nasal allergies. Time to find a new brand.

New "clean" scent smells cheap and vile

I've been a Dawn user for my entire adult life--over 30 years. I live in the city and don't have a dishwasher, so I do a lot of dishes by hand. Unfortunately, the new scent is absolutely vile. It smells like off-brand floor cleaner from the dollar store. If it's true that the normally-fragranced product is being permanently discontinued, I'm afraid I'm going to have to switch brands. What a stupid business decision.

Highly effective and user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dish soap that is a tried and true classic in the kitchen as well as at the beach for ecological clean up. I did use the new squeeze bottle, and appreciated the total user friendliness in never needing to turn the bottle over when you don’t have time for that. It also was an easier than normal process of transferring the remaining liquid to my little prefilled scrubber brush to make sure I got great use out of all the product.

Horrible smell!

Horrible new scent! It gave me an instant migraine! I've used Dawn my whole life my mom used Dawn it's been in my family forever and now noone can use it because everyone is allergic to its smell! You have to realize that the smell you put into your "new scent" doesn't work.. bring back the original.. you've lost alot of customers.. ive switched brands already and won't be switching back until you get rid of this smell.

Terrible new scent.

I HATE the new scent. Truly awful. I have tried to buy three different bottles hoping to find the original scent and am now out that money. The bottles look similar and now even bottles witrhout the "new clean scent" sticker have that smell. Please keep the original scent available in stores.
