The new scent is awful

I cannot stand the new scent. I was loyal to Dawn dish soap BECAUSE of the scent, and now you have betrayed me. Whoever had the idea that the scent needed to be changed in the first place is wrong. Absolutely wrong.

How could they be this greedy! New scent is so bad

Corporate greed strikes again. The new smell is disgusting. I've used ONLY Dawn Ultra for the last DECADE, but I will never buy another bottle. Might just throw the rest in the trash it is so bad.

Disgusting scent!

I am so disappointed. Why did you change the scent. I have a serious scent sensitivity and the original Dawn was the only dish detergent I could stand to use. This fresh scent really makes me want to throw up and gives me a migraine. Please discontinue this and bring back the original scent. This was such a bad idea. I will have to find something else in the meantime

Please Bring Back Original Scent

The New Scent caught me by surprise. Thought I had bought Original. I knew after the first drops from bottle something was wrong. For a while I thought the overwhelming ick flowery fragrance was coming from somewhere else. After I investigated numerous other options, I found it was the Dawn. I have allergies to perfumes and this new scent triggers problems for me. I have used Original Scent Dawn for decades and now am forced to find some other dishwashing liqiud that works as well as Dawn but does not smell like cheap perfume.

We're sorry to hear that you feel this way about the scent, as a lot of thought does go into our products. We also have many quality checks to ensure that you can use our products with ease. We wouldn't expect Dawn to impart the product scent into your dishes. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it's possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous, and should be rinsed immediately and not soaked. Overwhelming scent

For years, I have refilled my small bottle on the top of my kitchen sink with Dawn, never anything else. I now feel as if I am squeezing out scented lotion, it is horrible. Even using just a pencil tip size of soap, the scent is still overwhelming, and it lingers. I don’t want the inside of my drinking glasses to smell like anything!
