The new scent makes me sick! Really! Sick!

The new scent literally makes me sick! I love Dawn and I’ve always preferred it to any other brand of dish soap. But I can’t buy it anymore because of the new scent! I get a horrible headache when I smell it. It feels like someone actually poured the soap up my nose and directly into my brain. At first I thought it was just the power wash version, but then I got the jug. Oh, no! It’s in there, too! 😭🤢🤦♀️

Horrible new scent

Awful new scent. Smells like shampoo or body wash. Worse, the fragrance clings to my travel mug lid, ruining the taste the coffee. Never had that problem with old Dawn!

To remove strong scents from dishes and mugs, try soaking them in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added in. Going forward, we recommend giving Dawn Free & Clear, Unscented, or Dawn Free & Clear, Lemon Essence, a try. Both come in EZ-Squeeze bottles with all the cleaning power of Dawn, but without any added or heavy fragrance. You're welcome to call us at (800) 725-3296 for further assistance.

Helene!

I have used Dawn for a while but we have just been through Helene and have been without power, hot water and the ability to use a dishwasher since Friday, September 27th. I purchased a new bottle so I could hand wash dishes in cold water and be sure greasy stuff would come off and dishes would be clean. It’s been great! Now if only my power would come back on. I’m thankful for what I have though.

New scent is awful

I've always only ever used blue dawn for nearly everything in my home. I absolutely cannot do the horrendous new clean scent. It's truly awful. It makes dishes smell and taste like bad perfume. Please please go back, Dawn, if you see this because I don't want to switch but I'm going to have to.

We wouldn't expect the product scent to impart onto your dishes, but if they're worn to the point of being porous, it's possible. We suggest making sure that items that pick up a scent are rinsed immediately and aren't soaked. We hope this is helpful. Smells like a cheap, chemically scented candle

Smell is horrible. I have always used Dawn and I absolutely love the squeeze bottle design, but I have started having to buy another brand because this new scent gives me a headache. Why does dish soap even need a scent at all?

Miss the Old Scent!

Have always used dawn. The new "clean scent" is just awful. I loved the old one. I honestly didnt even know they changed it and the second I used it I could smell the new scent and I cant use this product anymore it gives me a headache.
