New clean scent is awful

New scent is awful. I am sensitive to perfumes and started sneezing within minutes. Why change the best detergent on the planet??

All the scents smell horrible

I am very unhappy with the scent of Dawn soap. Why can you not offer the original scent anymore?

The new scent is disgusting, nauseatingly gross and even leaves an after taste on dishware.

We're sorry to hear that this was your experience. We can assure you that our Dawn Original has been thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed, and we also put a lot of thought into creating features that we think you'll like. As well, we have many quality checks in place to ensure that you can get the best possible results with Dawn, and we wouldn't expect the product to impart a taste onto your dishes. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it's possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and shouldn't be soaked. Instead, they should be washed immediately and rinsed thoroughly. To help remove this scent from your dishes, soak them in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it run them through the dishwasher (assuming the dishes are dishwasher safe). Your comments will be shared with our team, and we recommend discontinuing use of this particular product if this has been your experience. While we don't currently have plans to reintroduce our previous Dawn Original scent, we do have other scents available here at Dawn. You may want to give our Dawn Free & Clear a try, as it features our lightest scent. We also offer our Dawn Free & Clear Fragrance-Free if you'd prefer an unscented product. So that we can learn more and gather some details for our Safety and Quality Teams, please give us a call at (800) 725-3296 when you can.

Smells disgusting! I hate the new fresh scent! We've accidentally purchased it twice and thrown it away both times. Please bring back the original in the ez squeeze option. Blech!

Overbearing new smell

New scent is awful. I’ve been a hardcore believer in your product for the past 30 years and use it for many cleaning activities beyond just dishes. Even used dawn to clean contaminated wildlife. However the new scent is unpleasant and even offensive. We just returned a large bottle and are looking for a new brand. A 5 star product is now a 1 star product.

FRESH SCENT aka HIDEOUS

I wish I could give zero stars regarding your new "Fresh scent" , which is just awful. There is nothing fresh about it. I have allergies and am extremely sensitive to smells. This is very flowery, which is a scent that gives me headaches, runny nose, among many other symptoms. I was very loyal to your blue original, now I have switched to Joy lemon, because I know what a lemon smells like and I am okay with that. I cannot imagine what will happen when people try and bath their animals with this, because guess what?? Their sense of smell is much more sensitive than a humans. I'm not sure why this was changed. Please bring back the original and make this hideous scent a different color so people who need to avoid it, will. I bought an original scent and it was not the original scent. So unhappy with this!!!
