New scent is an Epic fail

I have always used Dawn. It's the only dish soap that doesn't break my hands out. This new scent is horrible. It smells like mildew. The dishes still smell like it after you rinse off. Now I have a full bottle of dawn on my counter, that will go in the trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What is that smell and taste?!

What is that smelll and taste?!The cheap perfume smell is stuck in the brand new water bottle and makes the water taste like perfume. It’s been rinsed and rinsed, and rinsed again. It’s so bad, it can’t be safe. I’m never using it again. Better safe than sorry.

I don’t like it. Super strong perfume smell. Wish I would have noticed it was changed before I purchased a big bottle of it.

What is that horrific smell?!

New sent is awful! Not only is it awful, but it lingers. I cannot get the smell off of my hands and it leaves them very dry and irritated. In addition, you advertise that you use your dish soap to rescue wildlife that have been affected by oil pollution. I cannot imagine a poor animal being doused in this horrific fragrance and being unable to escape its smell! For the sake of the animals and your customers, please go back to the original formula. This bottle is going in the trash. I will not be purchasing this product again.

You can smell and taste the new scent

It smells like shampoo. I purchased it without looking at the label stating the "New Scent". The dishes smelled and tasted of the new scent. So, I rewashed the dishes with the original bottle I had. Look at the label carefully, it looks like the original label.

Because this fragrance change was the first one implemented to Dawn Original Scent in over 10 years, we understand this change may be a bit shocking.. We do apologize for that, and want to assure you that the scent or taste of this new fragrance shouldn't stay on your dishes. Unfortunately, this can happen if you used too much soap, didn't rinse the dishes well, or if the dishes have become porous with age to the point that they absorb flavors. If this is the case, don't soak porous items but wash them immediately and rinse thoroughly. When you're on your next shopping trip, consider picking up a bottle of Dawn Free & Clear. It has the lightest scent, and may be the best option for you and your dishes. We'd be happy to help you pick up this version. Call us up any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Foul new scent

Why did you ruin a good thing by changing the scent? I’ve been buying Dawn for over 25 years but won’t after I can’t find any more of the original. Way to drive away customers.

New scent is absolutely atrocious and gives me migraines. Used dawn for 25+ years. I haven’t spoken to one person who likes the new scent, what happened?!

Ruined by new scent

The new scent smells like cheap dollar store laundry soap. I will not be purchasing Dawn again due to this. Too bad, it was a lifetime favorite until this change!
