Smells awful

Smells awful. I hate the smell. Why would you change the scent to this awfulness. Will not buy again

Horrible "Clean" Scent

I love Dawn dish soap, but the "Clean" scent is AWFUL and not necessary.

Failed formula change

Hate the new scent. Even walmart blue soap now smells different probably bc of you. Ive been a loyal dawn customer(unless its out of stock and i get equate, but thats probably contracted through you too, since birth, my whole family used it) I tried to just get used to it but i cant. I will be finding any other company as quickly as possible.

Hate this new scent

This is the only dish soap I have ever used and I'm going to have to find a new dish soap because I can't stand the smell of this new "clean" scent. And the smell lingers on dishes. Nasty.

In regard to the scent lingering and affecting your taste, we wouldn't expect this to be your experience, however, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. To remove the scent/taste, please soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added. We hope this was helpful, but we'd like to learn more about your experience, try to make things right, and tell you more about our Dawn Free & Clear version that offers our lightest scent. Horrible smell

I’ve been using dawn for years. Cannot stand the new perfumey scent. Still cleans the same but I find the smell overpowering and cannot use

New scent is terrible. I've sworn by Dawn Ultra for 20+ years and now I have to use a different and likely less effective brand.
