Fragrance is terrible!

I made the mistake of buying this because the "new fresh scent" description on the last bottle was gone. I should have opened it and taken a whiff. The smell is so offensive to me that I'm going to need to give it away.

HORRIBLE SMELL!!

I just bought a big bottle to refill my small bottles and it smells horrible. Why on earth would they make dish soap smell like overpowering, flowery dollar store cologne? It doesn’t say anything on the front of the bottle about a new sent which means I will be switching brands. And that’s a shame because I’ve never used anything other than Dawn before. Zero stars!

We do put a lot of thought into creating features that we think you'll like, though we understand that preferences can vary from person to person. We'd also like to mention that this scent change took place in February 2024. We did callout the new scent on the packaging when it first launched, and this artwork was removed in October 2024. We suggest giving another Dawn version a try if you'd prefer a different scent, and you may be interested in giving our Dawn Free & Clear a try, as it features our lightest scent. Awful odor - Clean Scent smells sour & mildewed

I have been avoiding the Dawn labeled “Clean Scent” because it is absolutely horrible.
I just purchased a model of Dawn Ultra that is not labeled with the fragrance name and I swear it smells like the Dawn labeled “Clean Scent.”
I don’t know who changes these things, but it is horrible awful and I’m going to have to give it to somebody else that can stand the smell because I cannot stand it.
People need to leave things alone that have been working fine. I am definitely changing products.

New Scent is TERRIBLE

The new smell is overpowering. Why change a good thing? The whole reason I buy the original scent is because it does not leave a "perfume" smell on my dishes. I will be seeking an alternative unless you go back to the true original.

Awful new formula

Dawn has been my favorite for years I’ve been buying it since college and that’s 20 years ago. Why did you change something so good. The scent is terrible now and I feel that you made the soap cheaper. It doesn’t clean as well and I go through a lot more. It seems to me you are trying to profit more.
