We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the scent of your Dawn Ultra, and that the smell made you feel sick, as this isn't the experience we want or expect you to have, and we're grateful you brought it to our attention. If you're concerned with how the product is affecting you, please discontinue use.

To remove the scent from your dishes, soak the items in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it, or if they're dishwasher safe, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and directly into the dispenser, then run them through the machine. It may take a couple of cycles, but the smell will come out. Additionally, you can rewash your hands with mild hand soap to remove the scent.
