No longer buying Dawn Dish Soap! New fresh scent, aka original in this listing, is the worst! I used it because it didn't give me a migraine or rash. All other Dawn scents, including this new one, give myself and many others migraines and/or skin problems. I will be finding a non P&G product to use for dishes, laundry smells, and poison ivy oil removal.

Not a “Clean Scent”

Why change the scent? I’ve used Dawn for 20 years because I love the original blue Dawn. This “New Clean Scent” is so heavily perfumed, it smells like an air freshener, not a dish soap. It gave me an instant headache and the smell is lingering in my kitchen. It’s a waste of money and a new bottle of dish soap since I won’t be able to use it. So disappointed. Bring the original Original back!

New scent is too strong

I hate the new scent. Some people have chronic illnesses making them sensitive to certain odors. I have been using original scent Dawn for as long as I can remember because it was a good product with a scent that didn’t offend me. Now I can no longer use Dawn at all because it smells just like Dawn platinum. Having such a strong perfume that it causes me to become more ill. Thanks for looking out for the diversity of ALL of your loyal consumers.

New scent is 🗑️

Need to go back to old scent! New scent is absolutely TERRIBLE! had to go buy out old scent in town! Please go back to old scent which is clean and fresh! Why change something that isn’t broken?

New Clean Scent sucks - a lot

We have tried and tried and tried for months to get "used to" the new clean scent. We just can't. It smells like old lady perfume from the '70s. It is so overpowering that I can't fathom how many committees at the company had to approve this new scent during the design phases. It is truly an awful odor. It is pungent.
It does not have a "clean" scent. The odor is resembles a scent one might use to cover up something that smells much worse - like someone who used WAY too much Glade spray to cover up their bathroom nightmare. Does it still clean? I suppose it does, but the scent is so strong that I end up just trying to force my way through the clean-up process so I can get away from the stench as quickly as possible. I can't find the original scent anywhere, so I guess the company just decided to kill the product which is an unfortunate decision. Unless the original scent is brought back, I cannot imagine a scenario where we would use Dawn anymore unless it's to prank someone else.

Horrible scent

My household has been using dawn dish soap my entire life, and also before my entire life. But as great as the soap is, this new scent is horrible. I mean awful to the point that we’re looking for a new soap. Dawn dish soap was like a miracle worker I literally cannot comprehend why they would change the smell. It used to be fresh and light and smell like soap. Now it’s a lingering, heavy, chemically scent that none of my family can stand.
