No longer original scent!

This description is deceiving because the bottle in the picture says one thing while the product info says another. Unfortunately, the picture is correct! There is no more original scent. The product and the scent has been changed. The only warning you’ll get when you purchase this product (in the original branded bottle) is a tiny yellow sticker that says “new clean scent.” Don’t be fooled by the name, there is nothing clean about it! It’s almost as if they refilled original bottles with some kind of disgusting “refreshing rain scent” or something along those lines. Not only is the scent different, but the viscosity of my soap was also changed. It was much more watery and oozed out of the bottom of my ez-squeeze tube when I refilled it from a large jug. I contacted Dawn and they don’t really care about the scent change…they told me that they did their market research prior to making the switch. Well, this is one customer they didn’t survey and I can tell you that I won’t be purchasing Dawn again. I’d also suggest that the company remove all animals from their packaging and any video marketing showing their products in use cleaning off animals from oil spills…no animal should be cleaned off with toxic smelling soap and no human should use it to wash dishes!

Vile ‘new clean scent’

The new scent smells vile. Even the ducks are going to begin to complain; It’s not ducky!
Please reimburse me for this purchase. I’ll hold onto it until you reimburse me then I’ll throw it out.
Also please listen to your customers rather than telling them to get over it.

Awful “new scent”

I have used dawn for 30 years, but it’s time to switch, the new scent is terrible. It lingers on your dishes and overpowers everything. Very dissappointed.

Benadryl save me from this toxic stuff

If i could I would give this new scent, a zero. It is horrible. I have always use original dawn because its safe with my skin allergies. No one should have to take benadryl because they washed dishes. Like i had to. I hate wasting money, but i had to toss that whole bottle because it was making me sick. You guys need to change your label, because there's no way this is safe for wildlife. Those poor ducks would be sick. Please bring back the original dawn blue!

Time for damage control

The ratings are in and Dawn dish soap is losing a record number of customers. I think it would be safe to just go ahead and admit that you were wrong to change the scent of the original formula. 74% of people recommended this product on February 20 per stats from this website. Today is March 1 and your approval rating on this product has dropped to 63%. What do you think of your Research and Development team now? I’ll bet the people at Palmolive love them.

The “new clean scent” is disgusting. KEEP THE REAL ORIGINAL SCENT. Half the reason I even buy Dawn is for the real original scent. I’m so upset lol I will never buy Dawn again if the original scent is being replaced by this new weird sweet smelling garbage. Don’t know why companies insist on fixing what’s not broken. Ugh.
