Why fix something that's not broke

This new clean scent is terrible. The "original" scent is one of the things i loved about Dawn. The new scent is even worse in hot water...it smells like bad breath🤢. I am so mad about this change.

Horrible scent, very disappointed in Dawn

Dawn dish soap needed so little, that it took a long time for us to go through an entire bottle of dish soap. We bought a refill some months ago and had it in storage. Come to find out we were one of the lucky ones stuck with the new disgusting, cheap scent. Shame on you, Dawn. This obviously was a drop of some ingredient to save money. What you got was people with perfume allergies and sensitivities to stop buying the product. Dumb move.

Terrible new scent.

New scent makes me nauseous. Used first time after decades of use. Couldn’t even wash the terrible odor off my hands. You have lost a customer. You should have left well enough alone.

This scent change was implemented after receiving positive feedback during extensive testing with consumers. We'll be sure to share your comments with our team, and we suggest using a mild hand soap to help remove the scent from your hands. If you haven't already, we do recommend that you discontinue use of this particular product. We suggest giving our Dawn Free & Clear a try, as it features our lightest scent. We also have our Dawn Free & Clear Fragrance-Free available. Terrible new scent

The new scent is awful! It sticks to my hands and dishes and makes me nauseous. This is such an unnecessary and disappointing change. Will not be purchasing again, nor will I pay dawn more money to buy the fragrance free version.

We're always looking for ways to improve our users experieinces, so this change was implemented after receiving positive feedback during extensive testing with consumers. However, with our quality and safety checks, and when using our dish soap as directed, this is the last thing we expect, so please discontinue using this dish soap, and soak any impacted dishes in hot water with a bit of distilled white vinegar added to it. Terrible Nauseating New Scent - deal breaker

The new scent is awful. Literally makes me nauseated every time I wash dishes and stinks up my entire house. Even my husband who lost the majority of his smell due to covid years ago, can smell it. New scent does not exude clean or fresh. Someone missed the mark on this change. Unfortunately I’m changing to a different brand due to the terrible scent. This all seemed unnecessary!
