SICKENING SMELL! FALSE ADVERTISING!

If I could give this new scent (falsely labeled as original scent) no stars at all, I would. This smell triggers my migraines. I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years, and will now need to switch to another dish soap! Why would you change it??? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

We understand there have been recent changes in the scent of Dawn Ultra Original. We would like to assure you that we are aware of this transition and the potential impact it may have on your experience with our product, especially since this was the first scent change in over 10 years. Our Safety Team assures us that, when used as directed, your experience should be great. However, some have personal sensitivities can occur. After reading your review, we suggest you put your most recent bottle of Dawn in a safe spot where you, or others, won't use or lose it, just in case we need you to return it to us. Then, give us a call so we can check in on how you're feeling and help you. We're here week days, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Our number is 1 (800) 725-3296.

New scent stinks

The new scent is awful. It’s cloying and reminds me of an over-powering air freshener. We’re done with Dawn.

You have lost a customer

I’m so mad that Dawn has changed its original scent to a fabric downy smell, so strong and perfumey. You have now lost my business after many years of using your original Dawn. I have asthma and the new perfume scent is so excessive and made my dishes smell like fabric softener. Why would you all do something so stupid and crazy like that. This will effect your sales.

New “clean scent”? More like “fart spray” stink

The new “clean” sent is horrendous. It smells like bathroom cleaner and has made all of our dishes smell like someone just got done in the bathroom and has covered up the odor with a terrible air freshener. It’s absolutely nauseating and a HUGE mistake by the company to change it. Perhaps P&G should learn that change for the sake of change is a horrible business practice. Dawn used to be the best dish soap money could buy and now it’s nothing more than a stinky product taking up shelf space in the stores.
I will attempt to try the free and clear version, but the question still remains: why change a good thing?!?

New Scent Smells Terrible

I love the EZ Squeeze bottle but the “new clean scent” is terrible. I didn’t realize it was different since it’s the same color as the old blue Dawn. This bottle will take forever to get through too.

Original Scent is now disgusting "New Clean Scent"

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I've been a brand-loyal Dawn customer for as long as I can remember, always purchasing the "refill" size jug of original scent Dawn. When placing a curbside grocery order, I go into my past orders to repurchase the same item I always do, understandably expecting to receive the same product. Imagine my surprise when I reordered the same old product I always have, only to be met with an overpowering, nauseating, heavily-perfumed new formula. I would have given the old scent five stars, but not only is the new scent horrible and unbearable, more appropriate for laundry if anything; but the marketing is disappointing and misleading. Customers are not being made aware that the product has changed. Zero stars.

***New Scent is DISGUSTING***

The new scent is horrible, disgusting and repulsive. I don't care how well it cleans the dishes. I will not be using it any longer. Please bring back the original scent. The original scent was perfect, no change required. Until then, consider me an ex customer.
