“Don’t come near me, I smell like the new Dawn”

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Why take a trusted product and change it? I will never understand. Whoever convinced the Dawn team to switch scents should be fired!

New Clean Scent is Awful!

I am sensitive to smells and Dawn Original was one of the only dish soaps I could tolerate. This new clean scent is awful. It's has such a strong perfume smell. I don't understand why they did this. I will not be purchasing this anymore.

Absolutely awful new scent

The new clean scent is so overpowering and awful that I have to switch products. I'm a lifelong user of Dawn and I cannot believe the company did something so senselessly stupid to render their product unusable.

DO NOT BUY!!! This has only been used for 2 days and the whole family HATES the new smell!!! It's like washing your dishes in dirty socks. Trust me this company is about to feel what losing $300 million a week feels like real quick!

Horrible new smell

Dislike the new clean scent

The new clean scent triggers a migraine for me and an asthma attack for my mom. Wish you would have stuck with the actual original scent. I’m gonna have to find a new dish soap now unfortunately.

New Scent is BAD

Cannot believe they changed the scent of a tried and true product. The new smell is disgusting and unnatural. Cannot believe something that is supposed to be so gentle on wildlife could make someone so sick. I get a headache from the fragrance they added and it cannot possibly be natural. It has a chemical smell now. Must be cheaper to make. I'm sure it has to do with corporate greed. I won't be buying unless they go back to the "Original" version.

Suddenly Dawn stinks!

I have used Dawn for decades both in the kitchen & for multiple art uses, including cleaning fine art brushes I’ve had for over 40 years. Dawn removes oil paint residue, eliminating the need for turpentine or other caustic chemicals.
Suddenly Dawn has a very strong scent. It leaves a scent on my dishes even after they are very well rinsed. So not only are you poisoning your product with this awful scent, you are also wasting water as it takes so much more water to rinse this unnecessary chemical perfume away.
The old Dawn was perfect and exemplary of the fact that
The smell of clean is the absence of smell!
