Dawn new fresh scent dish soap —- don’t breath it!

I bought this last week at Market Basket in New Hampshire, when I used it, I wasn’t aware that this scent is very overpowering, and it took my breath away. This is so strong I can’t even use it. I would not even wash the birds with it. The scent is too strong, and should not even be there. My dirty dishes do not need any scent at all.

Horrible new smell

Please get rid of this “new fresh scent!” I don’t want this nasty flowery smell - it says “cover up” not “clean!”

New scent is awful

I've been using Dawn for 15 years and for the first time ever am switching to a different brand. The new scent is so strong and unpleasant. It makes washing dishes a horrible experience. I used it a few times and hate to waste it but I simply can't stand the smell. I can smell it from across the house it's so strong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New scent is offensive

I bought this and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the scent and then I realized it was not original. So I tried to get original. I bought up all the old original scent the grocery store had. Because the new scent is horribly floral and just awful. I'm probably going to switch back to another brand until you bring back the original scent

I loved the original dawn scent, the fact that they changed the scent makes me so upset as it was my favorite dishsoap. Please bring back the original scent! You’ll be losing a lot of customers otherwise!

New scent is the worst

I have used Dawn my entire life, my mother used it, my grandmother used it. The "new clean scent" is anything but. It's the absolute worst and after 40 years I'm looking for a new dish soap. You can't get it off of the dishes. Everything tastes like that horrible smell. If it's not broke why try to fix it? I'm not sure what market research told you the world wanted this. No one asked for it. Please stop.

Horrible packaging

Like other reviewers, I HATE this new squeeze packaging. It is impossible to use with one hand and when you finally get it to dispense using both hands you get a large blob even when you only wanted a small amount. I'd return it to the store but it's too much trouble. I won't however buy it again.

We can assure you that we have many quality checks to ensure that you can use our products with ease, and we'll make sure that your feedback is shared with the rest of our team. We suggest making sure to always store the bottle cap-side down. As well, we suggest that you loosen the cap to release pressure, then re-tighten it back on the bottle. Then, give the bottle one big squeeze onto a sponge or into the sink for about 2 seconds. We hope this helps.
