New smell is terrible

From a multi-generational house of Dawn users. New scent is no good. Lingers long after rinsing. Kind of nauseating and does not smell clean.
Original scent was 5 stars along with the product. Switching to another brand. Hope your R&D people figure it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New "Clean" Scent Is Terrible

I have been using Dawn for years. I purchased a new bottle that is the "New Clean Scent" as there was no original Dawn to be found. I can't tolerate it. It smells like laundry detergent. It's too overpowering for dishes and leaves a lingering scent on my dishes afterwards. I do not want to smell detergent while I'm eating off my dishes. Why fix something that wasn't broken? I can't find the original scent so I now have to purchase a different brand. Very disappointing.

Please bring back the original smell of Dawn Soap. The new scent smells like perfume. I really don't like the fact that I'm washing my dishes with something that smells like perfume. I've been using Dawn for years and I am now going to try a different brand.

AWFUL NEW SMELL

This new scent is awful. It is disgusting. Aside from burning my eyes and nose it smells absolutely terrible. This is like a bad dream. I've only used Dawn original dish soap for decades and sadly you've lost a customer. I do hope I've conveyed my disappointment. I can't imagine using this on those poor animals now.

WHY DAWN WHY??

I’m so disappointed that dawn has added such a HORRIBLE fragrance to their formula. I have been a loyal lifetime customer using dawn for my dishes, my laundry, washing my pets, getting out stains, everything and now it smells so bad I can’t even use it!!l It gives me a bad headache. I can’t believe they didn’t even give us the option of choosing the new or original formula 🥲🥲🥲 I have no idea what soap to use now.

EZ squeeze not livup to its expectations!

The cool new bottle works WONDERFUL for a couple of weeks! Then when the soap liquid gets about half empty it WILL NOT squeeze out with using one hand. Oh, it will come out but you must use BOTH hands to get it flowing. Even my husband can not get it to flow with one hand. We have been opening the cap, crunching the sides of the bottle and quickly capping it back. Then it is usable with a single hand. This was an absolute poor design. Yes, it has been thrown away and I'll just keep using the antiquated dish soap bottles that have been around for a VERY long time. Dawn, it you are going to change something that's not broken, at least have the new , fancier , and improved version work easier. This needs to go back to the drawing.

What a disgusting scent. Fire whoever developed this. The old scent worked for 30 years--- but ya, change it.
