Nauseating new scent

I have always used Dawn and like many others, I find the new scent nauseating. I wish I would have known about the change before I bought a big refill bottle of it. Once it’s used up, I will definitely be finding a new dishwashing liquid. Even though they claim that it was a scent that in testing people liked, I can’t figure out where they found those people because after looking at the reviews, they seem to be the only ones that liked it.

Oh man, this new scent is ROTTEN

Besides the easy squeeze bottle collecting water in the cap and always smelling like mildew, this new scent is even WORSE. Luckily I have all together stopped buying dawn and went back to a free from product.

Terrible scent, dishes don't need perfume!!

The scent is awful!!! It is way too strong, my whole sink area stinks of it, my hands stay smelling so strong of it ,and the worse is when I want to put savory food on my plate that smells like strong flowers. Whose idea is to make dishes you are going to eat off of smell like super strong flowers or fabric softenerm

While we did update the scent of this dish soap, what you've described isn't what we expect to hear from any of our consumers. Be sure to fully rinse your dishes, especially those that are cast iron and plastic-based, as these two materials tend to absorb scent. In fact, if you find the same dishes keep retaining scent, take care not to soak them, but wash and rinse them immediately. Over time, some dishes can become very porous and it may be time to replace them. New scent ruined product

The new scent is terrible! We’ve used this soap for years but the new scent is awful. Way too strong, smells like perfume. I can’t stand doing dishes with it and am looking into finding another product. Please bring back original scent!

This new Dawn is like New Coke, a Failure

I noticed a strange smell in my kitchen yesterday and didn’t know where it was coming from. Then when I was at the sink I noticed the label on the Dawn bottle said “new scent”, and that was the terrible smell in my kitchen! Why would you change such a beloved classic? If you want to experiment with different scents add to your lineup, don’t change the much loved original. This is like New Coke. Please bring back Dawn Classic.
