The soap works great but the bottle leaks all over

I love the idea but I bought a bottle 2 weeks ago and it leaks all over the countertop. The soap itself works great as usual, but I definitely disagree with the “No mess” claim.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We always expect your Dawn Ultra EZ-Squeeze to work perfectly, and only release the hand dishwashing soap that we all know and love when adding it to running water. It's possible too much pressure has built up in the bottle; try loosening the cap to release the pressure. Then, re-tighten it back on the bottle. Give the bottle one big squeeze onto a sponge, or into the sink, for about two seconds. Be sure to store the bottle cap side down, too. This should release the pressure and stop the leaking. It’s amazing how I love to wash dishes again. The squeezable soap bottle is genius. Now, I have to figure out how to refill it. I won’t use the original bottles. The lids get too gummy.
Whomever created this squeezable dish soap is a genius!!! However now we need to make it pretty, like a piece of the kitchen. A lot of us leave our detergent on the counter, it would be nice to have these prettier for women or masculine for men. If they didn't leave it on the counter before, they will when it pretty, what better advertisement!!
I bought this product with high expectations. I had it in a bag with a power wash refill bottle. When I took them out of the bag, the ez squeeze had leaked into the bag and got all over the bottle. You could see the flimsy paper sticker over the squirter end. I have a bad feeling about this so I am storing it upside down because I don’t want soap all over my counter!

I love the new easy squeeze packaging. It’s easy to get product out of the bottle, without wasting any product. I love Dawn products and I will continue to use them in my household. I also use dawn products to bathe my dog it is gentle and leaves him smelling great!
