Very Disappointed in this Product

I love the feature of the bottle...no mess. However, this is not the same formula as the original Dawn. It soaps up really good at first and then the soap disappears almost immediately. I have used Dawn ever since I can remember using dish soap. I am so dissapointed your have changed the formula in this squeeze bottle and will try other dish soaps. This would certainly not take oil off of birds as you advertise with the original formula.

Please know, your happiness is very important to us, and what you're describing isn't something we expect, as we've not changed any cleaning ingredients in the soap. What you've described could be a result of cleaning very dirty dishes, as the more grease and grime Dawn cleans may require more frequent water changes and/or more soap added to the water. Terrible “New Clean Scent”

I have always purchased the original dawn not only because it was effective but also because it was the only scent I could tolerate. The “New Clean Scent” is terrible. It leaves a scent on my dishes and gives me a headache. Please bring back the original scent!

Please know, we're truly sorry about this, and appreciate your concerns. It's really important to us that you can use Dawn comfortably, and we do everything we can to make sure this is the case. Our Safety Team puts all products and ingredients through very strict testing, making sure you'll be able to safely use the soap as directed. That said, we understand that personal sensitivity to any ingredient may happen, and is very individual. We want to help you as best we can, and hope you'll put the rest of the bottle off to the side, where it won't be used or tossed out. You ruined a wonderful product beloved by millions

Why "fix" something that wasn't broken? The NEW CLEAN SCENT is truly awful! Please change it back. If you had made the soap less smelly, that would have been welcome, but it was fine as it was. The new scent, however, is a horrible mistake. Dreadful, yucky, ick, no thank you!

Awful New scent

I have always used Original Dawn and it is the only dishwashing soap I use. I also use it for stain removal and other cleaning tasks. The original would receive 5 stars but in my last grocery order I was given Dawn liquid with a small sticker that said New Clean Scent. It smells exactly like the gag inducing cough medicine of my childhood! I can't use it and will have to return it. Please tell me that you are not replacing the original scent.

New Scent Is Disgusting

The new “clean scent” that has replaced “original scent” is disgusting. I’ve gone my entire life and they’ve never changed the scent of original Dawn…until recently. Awful. Smells truly hideous. Bring back the original, please.

Smells too fragrant.

I have always used Dawn. This new scent is so strong. It smells like it should be an air freshener. I am washing dishes. I’m scared this scent will remain on my dishes. I will have to look for a new dish soap. Please being back the orginal Dawn and not this “clean” scent. Its very strong.

Why did they change the scent?!! I’ve only used Dawn dish soap and now I will not buy it again because it’s smells HORRIBLE! If it’s not broke, don’t fix it!! I’m super disappointed with the “new clean scent”! Yuck!!
