The “original” scent has been changed

This new scent is awful. Please bring back the original dawn dish soap scent not this new one. It’s awful. So floral.

Why did you ruin a good thing by changing the scent? I’ve been buying Dawn for over 25 years but won’t after I can’t find any more of the original. Way to drive away customers.

NOT ORIGINAL SCENT! "NEW SCENT" is DISGUSTING! It keeps your dishes smelling horrible long after rinsing. Please change it back or no more purchases from a lot of customers.

Loyal user of dawn original scent. This new “clean” scent is terrible. Why would I want my dishes that I eat out of to smell like tide laundry detergent?! Come on do better! Give us the original scent back. Something neutral for dishes!! This is awful.

the new clean scent is disgusting! its so overpowering and perfumy! bring back the plain old original scent!

It smells like shampoo. I purchased it without looking at the label stating the "New Scent". The dishes smelled and tasted of the new scent. So, I rewashed the dishes with the original bottle I had. Look at the label carefully, it looks like the original label.

Because this fragrance change was the first one implemented to Dawn Original Scent in over 10 years, we understand this change may be a bit shocking.. We do apologize for that, and want to assure you that the scent or taste of this new fragrance shouldn't stay on your dishes. Unfortunately, this can happen if you used too much soap, didn't rinse the dishes well, or if the dishes have become porous with age to the point that they absorb flavors. If this is the case, don't soak porous items but wash them immediately and rinse thoroughly. When you're on your next shopping trip, consider picking up a bottle of Dawn Free & Clear. It has the lightest scent, and may be the best option for you and your dishes. We'd be happy to help you pick up this version. Call us up any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. The scent is gross smelling and very irritating to the hands.
