This new scent is terrible. Bring back the original. Done with Dawn if this is the scent. What compelled you to change a classic?! Reminiscent of New Coke

Don't you love it when a company says they don't care about their customers? They know 90% of their customer base hates the new scent & love the original. But they won't bring the original back.

Terrible new scent

I absolutely hate the new scent. It's way too strong and overpowering. I told my wife that I won't do the dishes any more because I can't wash the smell off my hands. I can't believe someone thought this was better than the original.

HATE new scent Never Buying Again 42 year user BYE

I have been buying Dawn my entire adult life, I am 42 so that is a lot of Dawn. My mom used Dawn and the smell is very nostalgic for me. I got into an argument with my wife a number of years ago because she wanted to switch to some green washed eco bs dish soap. I said I don’t care I am buying Dawn. But the new scent is not only not the same, which kills the nostalgia aspect, but it smells awful and cheap. It’s garbage! I will never buy it again unless they change it back. I also will refuse to just buy another P+G dish soap out of protest. Will just have to buy the fancy health food co-op brand instead.

This new scent is awful, why did you change it. So many people are sensitive to scents. Why can't anything be unscented anymore.

Absolutely awful new scent.

After using only Dawn for over 30 years, I'm sorry to say I will never buy again it. So disappointing, as Dawn cleans the best and actually smelled good (in a subtle, not overpowering way).
Utterly baffling choice on the company's part to change the formula at all, much less to something so unpleasant.

Handed for the worse

Dawn used to smell like dish soap. Now it smells like baby shampoo doused with Febreeze and is so overpowering that it can be smelled all over the house whenever dishes are washed. We are changing brands.
