Shame on you for changing a good thing!

I didn't notice the previous change in scent because I wasn't buying much Dawn at the time having a dishwasher and all.. I moved into a house without a dishwasher and won't get around to remodeling the kitchen to have one until next year... That aside, I've been buying more Dawn than before and I'm completely dissatisfied with this new scent and am switching brands immediately. I've used Dawn for over 30 years and I'm done. Get your stuff together proctor & gamble!!

New scent is offensive

I bought this and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the scent and then I realized it was not original. So I tried to get original. I bought up all the old original scent the grocery store had. Because the new scent is horribly floral and just awful. I'm probably going to switch back to another brand until you bring back the original scent

New Scent is terrible

I've been using the original blue Dawn only for many years. The new scent not only is too strong, but it lingers on our dishes. I don't often leave negative reviews, but I can't cant even finish the bottle of the new scent. Pleeeeease...change it back!

We do put a lot of thought into creating features that we think you'll like, and we also have many quality checks to ensure that you can use our products with ease. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous. We suggest not letting these items soak, and making sure to rinse them immediately. Absolutely awful new scent

The new clean scent is so overpowering and awful that I have to switch products. I'm a lifelong user of Dawn and I cannot believe the company did something so senselessly stupid to render their product unusable.

New “clean scent”? More like “fart spray” stink

The new “clean” sent is horrendous. It smells like bathroom cleaner and has made all of our dishes smell like someone just got done in the bathroom and has covered up the odor with a terrible air freshener. It’s absolutely nauseating and a HUGE mistake by the company to change it. Perhaps P&G should learn that change for the sake of change is a horrible business practice. Dawn used to be the best dish soap money could buy and now it’s nothing more than a stinky product taking up shelf space in the stores.
I will attempt to try the free and clear version, but the question still remains: why change a good thing?!?

New scent is awful

I've been using Dawn for 15 years and for the first time ever am switching to a different brand. The new scent is so strong and unpleasant. It makes washing dishes a horrible experience. I used it a few times and hate to waste it but I simply can't stand the smell. I can smell it from across the house it's so strong.

New Clean Scent is Awful!

I am sensitive to smells and Dawn Original was one of the only dish soaps I could tolerate. This new clean scent is awful. It's has such a strong perfume smell. I don't understand why they did this. I will not be purchasing this anymore.

You have lost a customer

I’m so mad that Dawn has changed its original scent to a fabric downy smell, so strong and perfumey. You have now lost my business after many years of using your original Dawn. I have asthma and the new perfume scent is so excessive and made my dishes smell like fabric softener. Why would you all do something so stupid and crazy like that. This will effect your sales.
