New scent gross

I've been buying Dawn dish soap for over 30 years. The new scent is gross, burns my eyes and breaks my hands out. I will be buying different dish soap from now on unless you go back to the Original Scent
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We also put a lot of thought into creating features that we think you'll like. We'll be sure to share your feedback with our team, and we recommend discontinuing use of this particular product, if you haven't already. While we don't currently have plans to reintroduce our previous Dawn Original scent, we'd like to mention that we do have other Dawn versions available. You may be interested in trying out our Dawn Free & Clear, which features our lightest scent. We also offer an unscented option in our Dawn Free & Clear Fragrance-Free. The *New* scent in 2024 is AWFUL! My whole adult life I've used Dawn, My Mom used Dawn soap, I hate that I have to find something else. Why on earth did you change it? It leaves a scent on my dishes and smells more like laundry soap.

The new clean scent of dawn is horrible. It has a thick deep perfume scent that lingers. I want the original back that I have been buying for many many years. If that’s all Proctor and Gambel have to offer I will be going back in time purchasing Palmolive.

I have used Dawn for years and loved it. Just used the new Clean Scent and it is horrid. I found the smell to be nauseating. Why would anyone want to wash dishes in perfume? I will be searching for the Original Scent and if not changed will be looking for a replacement. What a waste of money.
The "New Clean Scent" is Horrible I've only ever purchased Dawn's Original Dish Soap and sadly will no longer be purchasing any Dawn Products. My hope is that they get enough complaints and decide to go back to the original scent. P&G's R&D really did a poor job on this, they should have rolled out the Clean Scent as an additional option not a total replacement. If it ain't broke don't fix it...

There are not enough negative words in the English language to describe how much I HATE the new scent. I had to give 1 star to leave a review but it is ZERO stars. I have never written a review in my entire life but I am so disgusted with the new Dawn scent that I had to write a review. I have used Dawn my entire adult life but I will NEVER use it again because this new scent is absolutely atrocious. It is nauseating. It is disgusting. And as others have said, the smell stays on your dishes. The first time I used it on my water bottle that I take to work, I couldn't even drink the water for lunch. It tasted like perfume. I rinsed the bottle many, many times and the smell and taste will not go away. I have not been able to drink out of it since. How is this even possible!?!? What did you put in this that it sticks to all of your dishes!?!? Thanks Proctor and Gamble. Are you going to give all of your customers the money it's going to cost us to replace all of our dishes that are now ruined. Also, my favorite cup to drink out of at home is stainless steel and has a rubber handle and the smell will not come out of that. Every time I take a drink, it smells and tastes like old rancid perfume that's been in the cupboard for 50 years. I am going to try soaking them in vinegar and water to see if the smell will come out. This is ridiculous that I should even have to do this!!!! Whoever invented this new scent and whoever approved it should be fired immediately. I cannot believe that ANYONE thought that this was a good idea. You have lost a customer. I will NEVER purchase Dawn again.

Because this is the first scent change in over 10 years for this dish soap, we're aware there may be disappointment or concerns. Safety is our top priority, and all our products are thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. However, after reading your review, we ask you to stop using the dish soap; put it in a safe space where it won't be tossed out, as we may ask you to return it to us. DO NOT BUY!!! This has only been used for 2 days and the whole family HATES the new smell!!! It's like washing your dishes in dirty socks. Trust me this company is about to feel what losing $300 million a week feels like real quick!
