New smell is stinky

Use your product for my cleaning service....absolutely hate the new smell. Why did this have to happen? Dawn was great the old way. Why change it if nothing was wrong with it? I hope you change it back 🙏 You might not think a new smell should matter but it does if you smell it all day. :(

A stinky effort

Dish soap shouldn't smell like a stripper. What where you thinking, who is in charge of your R&D, they completely missed the mark unless they were going for 2am in a Bangkok brothel, and they nailed it!!

This product smells horrible! Bought a couple weeks ago and it has permeated everything. Dish towels, hands,. Your panel must have all had colds when they did a smell test. Not good, go back to the old sent.

This is my favorite and I always save the bottle and just refill. It’s so nice and it cleans the residue so well! I’m a huge fan of Dawn products. Very effective!

New scent stinks!

The new scent is terrible! Original scent Dawn has been my one and only for 20 years. When I started my first sink of dishes with my new bottle, I thought that someone’s cheap perfume had gotten onto my dish cloth. It smells terrible. Will be moving on to another brand until ya’ll come to your senses. Change it back!

New Scent is Horrible!

New scent is terrible! Leaves a lingering scent on my dishes that smells like bad shampoo. My family has been using dawn for several decades, and unfortunately that stops now. CHANGE THE SCENT BACK, DAWN!!!

Soap buildup: Over time, dish soap can accumulate on dishes, especially if they are not rinsed thoroughly or if too much soap is used. This buildup can leave a residue and scent. Make sure you are rinsing your dishes thoroughly with clean water after washing them.

Hard water: If you have hard water in your area, it can interact with the dish soap and leave behind mineral deposits on your dishes, which can appear as a residue. Consider using a water softener or an additional rinse aid to counteract the effects of hard water.

The new dawn scent is horrible!! It is way too strong and overpowering and the scent lingers on dishes even after drying. I don’t want to smell strong cleaning product smell while I’m eating. Please bring the old dawn back or at least give us an option of buying “original scent”. I think you can tell by the reviews of many that your loyal customers are not happy about this change and it would be wise to consider our feedback.
