New clean scent is sickening and overpowering

This new clean scent has an over powering sickening smell. It literally is lingering on everything that I washed, including my hands. The stink now fills my whole house with a horrible perfume scent, which has given my wife and I a headache. In the trash it goes. What happened to the pleasant soapy smell I grew up with? Why did you change it? Why change something that is great? How did this possibly get passed through quality control? I would never put this new version of dawn clean sent on an animal ever again the fumes are horrible and please do not respond by recommending me to try any of the other Dawn products, I’m done.

I am so disappointed in the (completely unnecessary) change in scent! The moment I opened the new bottle, I developed an instant headache and felt lightheaded. I have fibromyalgia and am very sensitive to smells in general, but few things have made me feel this ill this quickly. Worst of all, the scent lingers on your hands for hours, even after multiple hand washings. I have used Dawn for years, but I'm sorry to say that this will be the last bottle I ever buy.

The new smell is TERRIBLE. So bad that I threw it away and bought a competitors product. Why on earth would you change the scent after a gazillion years. It smells so strong and the smell lingers - when you cook on a pan washed with the new smell, the smell permeates the food. My eggs tasted terrible.

What have you done to the dawn original soap? Have you heard the saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” good lord it’s an awful smell. It’s way too much for doing your dishes with please bring back the original or I will have to change brands. It’s god awful. Why would you mess with the “dawn original” product it is your brand staple

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The smell is offensive and cloying! Image your great aunts church perfume that lingers. Why mess with something that has worked for decades, this was a poor marketing decision.

My previous bottle of dawn was empty so I popped open the new one we had under the sink. I hadn't noticed it said new scent on it but as I was washing the dishes I was looking around the kitchen trying to figure out what that disgusting smell was. Finally it dawned on me that it was the soap. Terrible, I hate to switch brands but I can't have that small on my hands and dishes while cooking. Hopefully they see that awful feedback and switch back.

I used to buy Dawn until now. I noticed it having a chemical , febreeze type smell which I dislike immensely. Why did you change? Leave well enough alone .
I won’t buy it again unless Dawn goes back to its soft , understated scent.
It’s hard to believe people are liking it .

Smells awful and lingers on everything. I don't want to smell the dish soap on my hands or dishes hours after washing. Yes I am rising it off thoroughly.
Why would you change the perfect sidh soap? Who ever made that decision should be fired.
