Dawn new fresh scent dish soap —- don’t breath it!

I bought this last week at Market Basket in New Hampshire, when I used it, I wasn’t aware that this scent is very overpowering, and it took my breath away. This is so strong I can’t even use it. I would not even wash the birds with it. The scent is too strong, and should not even be there. My dirty dishes do not need any scent at all.

New smell is AWFUL!

The new smell is awful. I've used Dawn for years because it didn't smell toxic and worked well. NOW it smells toxic like most products I avoid on the market. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!

Disgusting Scent

What a disgusting scent. Fire whoever developed this. The old scent worked for 30 years--- but ya, change it.

New scent smells toxic

I have only used Dawn dish soap until now. I can’t breathe in the new scent- it smells toxic and gives me a head ache. I don’t feel comfortable using it anymore. I am no longer a dawn dish soap customer.

Horrible packaging

Like other reviewers, I HATE this new squeeze packaging. It is impossible to use with one hand and when you finally get it to dispense using both hands you get a large blob even when you only wanted a small amount. I'd return it to the store but it's too much trouble. I won't however buy it again.

We can assure you that we have many quality checks to ensure that you can use our products with ease, and we'll make sure that your feedback is shared with the rest of our team. We suggest making sure to always store the bottle cap-side down. As well, we suggest that you loosen the cap to release pressure, then re-tighten it back on the bottle. Then, give the bottle one big squeeze onto a sponge or into the sink for about 2 seconds. We hope this helps. Oh man, this new scent is ROTTEN

Besides the easy squeeze bottle collecting water in the cap and always smelling like mildew, this new scent is even WORSE. Luckily I have all together stopped buying dawn and went back to a free from product.

Please don't stop making the old Dawn. I love using Dawn it is my go-to soap for doing dishes. However, the new scent is simply awful. I won't be purchasing another one : (

Love the new package, do not like the scent at all. It should not be allowed around food. Will empty the bottle and refill it with something else.
