Horrible new scent

I have been a Dawn original scent user for years for dishwashing, making weed killer, general house cleaning etc. The new “clean” scent has driven me to move to another brand. The new scent is overpowering and leaves a residue and smell on dishes, fabrics (towels and washcloths), and skin. Please go back to the “original” scent so consumers can continue to purchase the brand/product they enjoy using.

New scent is unpleasant, doesn’t rinse cleanly

Still cleans other things off well, but the scent is terrible and does NOT rinse off, even from stainless steel. For instance, my spoons all smell strongly of the icky new smell after using the soap on them, even after multiple rinses. I had to wash them again with a different dish soap to make my dishes not smell like the new soap smell.
Also, how can you label something “original scent” and “new scent” at the same time? This was just a bad move all around. Reminds me of New Coke.

Great bottle of a high quality product

I love this easy squeeze dish soap! Dawn dish soap always cleans well and smells fresh. But the easy squeeze bottle helps stop clogging of the nozzle and makes it so much easier to store.

Game changer for Dawn!

This is a game changer! I've been using Dawn for years. Who hasn't? Dawn gets everything clean: dishes, clothes, everything. I love the way this bottle is made. This is so much easier than the traditional bottles that Dawn has had in the past. I like this bottle better because I don't have to wait for the bottle to drain all of the soap into another bottle before I toss it in the trash. Dawn is pricey, but it's worth every penny.

I have used Dawn for years but this new scent is unfortunately, nauseating to me. I hope I can find a comparable product with a better scent....or no scent

Don’t Purchase the New Fresh Scent Dawn!!!!!

Disgusting overpowering floral scent. Smells like cheap artificial floral air freshener. Really awful. I hate washing the dishes with it!!!! I used to love the original ! I will not purchase the new scent product in the future. I don’t know why you messed with a good product! I’m sure this can not be used on ducklings like the old product ad. Too many artificial smells. It is nauseating to me. I called the company today and also wanted to warn the public . Don’t buy the new fresh scent Dawn. Product. Also does not seem the same consistency. More watery feel to it.

New Scent Stinks; Bottle Bad for Arthritic Hand

The new scent stinks. My cats won't eat from dishes washed in it, no matter how well I rinse in hot water! Not surprising when I consider how much I dislike the smell of the dishes after using Dawn with the new scent. I don't like the new bottle either. It's hard to use one-handed if one has arthritis and makes a bigger mess than the old one. Now I have to find a new brand to replace what was my very favorite cleaning product.

"Clean Scent" LOL

This new 'clean scent' smells like third-rate, knock-off, dollar store laundry detergent and the smell does not come off easily. All my kitchen utensils smell like they have been washed with perfume and it does not add flavor to my meals. Learn from Coca-Cola's mistake: Don't mess with the formula.
