A bang for your buck!

Love this product! The packaging is so efficient and the product is the best for washing dishes. The scent is so pleasant, cleans so well, and is a bang for your buck!

Terrible new scent

The new scent is AWFUL. Smells like old lady perfume and is thin and runny. It just pours out of the new squeeze bottle like a river. I have been using Dawn dish soap for as long as I can remember and it was always a quality product. Why fix something that’s not broken 😡 will not purchase again. Bring back the original or I’m sure many people will look for a new dish soap.

We're sorry to hear that this has been your experience. A lot of thought goes into the design of our products, and we also have many quality checks in place to ensure that Dawn reaches you in the best possible condition. While we did recently update our Dawn Original scent, we'd like to mention that no other changes were made to the formula. It may be helpful to know that extreme temperatures can make the consistency of a dishwashing liquid thin/watery, but it isn't permanent. Once back to room temperature, it should return to its normal consistency and is still safe and effective to wash your dishes with. While we don't currently have plans to reintroduce our previous Dawn Original scent, we do have other Dawn versions available that we hope you'll try out. Bad new scent

The new original scent is absolutely disgusting and clings to everything. I don’t want the dishes I cook and eat with to smell like artificial air freshener. I don’t understand why this change was made. I have loved Dawn dish soap for years, but I won’t be buying it anymore.

Smells absolutely horrible now

The new scent is horrible. It’s like someone sprayed frebreeze directly into your face. I have used Dawn soap my entire life, but I will never buy another bottle until they go back to the old scent.

"New clean scent" stinks!

"New clean scent" is terrible! nothing "clean" smelling about it. It's that sort of fruity flowery chemical. Bring back the actual clean smelling Original Scent!

Grandma's nasty old perfume

I have been a lifelong Dawn user - swear by it, and made sure that was the product used in the restaurant kitchens I've run. The new "Clean Scent" is horrible and smells anything but clean. Why you would make dish liquid smell like grandma's old perfume is beyond me. It's gross. I feel betrayed and unvalued as a customer.

Change the scent back!

Change the scent back. The “new scent” is offensive. I can’t use anymore with this crazy offensive perfume odor. Create a new type. Don’t mess with the original. Nothing was wrong with it.

I love Dawn and how well it cleans my dishes…this new scent is just too much though! Way too strong. I don’t understand why the “original” scent needed to change. Please change it back! My allergies will thank you.
