Why did you ruin something that was loved as it was?! This scent is extremely heavy and irritates my eyes.....pretty much absolutely contrary to the point of original dawn 😑

Bring Back the Original

My husband thought he was helping by picking up what he thought was the original Dawn at the store for me. When I went to bring it back to get the original scent to my horror the original no longer exists! In our scent free household you can smell the bottle across the room! The dishes I washed with it now have a permanent smell… as does the food put on them. I can’t find the original anywhere… PLEASE bring it back! You’re loosing your loyal customers who count on your quality product!

New scent is atrocious

I just had a baby and have been doing a lot of ordering online since I can’t bring my little one into busy stores yet. To my dismay I didn’t have the chance to smell the new scent before purchasing. It is beyond disgusting and I will not be using it, especially around my infant. I cannot believe that a product I’ve been using for decades changed its scent, especially to something so noxious.

New scent - not an improvement

I've been using Dawn original soap for as long as I can remember. I dislike the new clean (original) scent. I will no longer be purchasing Dawn after the bottle I currently have. Peace Dawn.

New scent horrible

I can't stand the new scent, makes me nauseous. I've used Dawn exclusively for years and now I'll need to switch brands because I can't stand the new smell. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm desperate. Please bring back original scent as an option!

Because we just updated the scent of Dawn Ultra Original, which was the first one in over 10 years, we understand you may have some frustration with this purchase. We do apologize for that, and also want to assure you that, when used as directed, our Safety Team shares that you'll feel comfortable while using the dish soap. We're so sorry to learn you may have a specific sensitivity to this change, and we agree that moving on from Dawn Ultra Original may be your best choice. Sadly, we do not have plans, at this time, to return to the previous scent. We hope you'll consider Dawn Free & Clear, our dish soap with all the cleaning benefits of Dawn, but available with both a light scent, or no scent. Choose the Fragrance Free option, and you'll not have to worry about any added smell. We want to help you, and hope you'll call us with an update on how you're feeling. This new scent is absolutely awful! Literally no one likes it. I've purchased so many bottles because they are labeled as original scent and they're the new clean scent when they arrive. I really hope you change back to your actual original scent.

The new dawn scent is horrible!! It is way too strong and overpowering and the scent lingers on dishes even after drying. I don’t want to smell strong cleaning product smell while I’m eating. Please bring the old dawn back or at least give us an option of buying “original scent”. I think you can tell by the reviews of many that your loyal customers are not happy about this change and it would be wise to consider our feedback.
